Monterey Mechanical is a financially-solid, mid-sized industrial contractor and metal fabricator in business in California for 75 years. We specialize in complex industrial projects that include water and wastewater treatment plants, power generation facilities, and other complex industrial facilities. We generally self-perform all civil, structural, metal fabrication and installation, equipment erection, mechanical piping work, HVAC and odor control services. We manage hundreds of trade subcontractors on projects who provide specialty services. As a union contractor, Monterey Mechanical has labor agreements with most of the general and specialty trades.
In addition to vast project work in the Bay Area, Monterey Mechanical has performed project work throughout California, Colorado, Alaska, Nevada, and internationally in Micronesia. Our reputation for delivering quality projects on time and within budget is well established. The Gold Shovel Standard is a first-of-its kind excavation safety program designed to reduce dig-ins and protect the underground gas and electric system.
